And on that same subject, here's another few that help with the pesky
bracket bolts... reach into your tool box for that 13mm box wrench you
ground in half to get the solex carburetor off your bus intake maifo--whoa!
did I just say that? Showing my age! Anyway, grind a cheap 13mm in half and
you'll find endless uses for it here and there. One is sticking it over (or
under, to be precise) the bolt head beneath the slave cylinder bracket.
Stuff some newspaper inside the bracket to support the wrench securely over
the bolt head, and enjoy one-handed nut removal from the top while the bolt
is held captive under the bracket. the half-wrench is necessary on either
the diesel or gasser, I don't remember which, but it is more convenient for
either.
