You bet.  Progressive and permanent.  There's a powder mixed in with
the ammonia/hydrogen/water mix.  If the boiler boils dry (because the
gravity-fed cycle stops working) the powder cakes on the walls of the
boiler and interferes with heat transfer into the boiler.  However
the RM182 has a very liberal spec for tilt compared to most RV fridges.

When you're under way it's not normally an issue because sloshing
will keep the boiler from going dry even if the cycle isn't working.
