Yup. 5/8" heater hose. Stiff enough walls that it won't collapse under vaccuum, and it is proof against hot oil and other type hydrocarbon vapors it will come in caontact with. I even went so far, on my 1.9 (which is slightly different), to replace most of the hose with a piece of steel tube, and only used the rubber hose on the ends, at the breather tower, and the intake manifold adapter. Has done well over the past 5 years of daily driving... That's it. I want to put a new hose on it. Right now I am using a piece of red heater hose. By the way, I forgot to mention this is an '87 Wolfburg edition Van. Any one know the part number for the hose? Thanx, Chris Snyder |
