oh that IS disgusting and ugly insn't it ! I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to 'not know' about such severer body cancer. but you already have the right treatment gonig on. for patching, I use Duramax 4125 adhesive.......from body supply shops. Expensive, and you need to buy the tool that holds the double tubes. of the stuff..............just need to buy that once. But you get the rust to clean bare metal, treat that well, and glue good new metal ......... I like thick galvanized sheet .........it'll be solid for a long, long time. Maybe I should name my operation 'Vanagon Heaven' since there are quite a few of them here, and it's just bone dry here in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Like it's 'too dry' and rust-wise, that's a very very good thing. scott www.turbovans.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "neil N" <musomuso@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, July 23, 2008 4:50 PM Subject: Check for rust while fridge is out!
