Soft brake can be caused by the following: Bad master cylinder Brake light switches air bound. Yes, some timed they do not fill. I pour some fluid into the switches before installing them. I learned this the hard way. Bad rear brake set up-adjustment. Easy test, try with the hand brake on. If the pedal becomes firm then the rear brakes are the problem. Really bad bulging brake hoses. Wobbling or badly warped from rotors. Bad rear brake pressure regulator. Yes, they do go bad. Dennis
