The 205/70 is usually slightly smaller than the 185/82. The speedometer will read slighty faster and the odometer will read slighty farther than you are actually traveling. A standard 205/70 is also insuffecient to carry the rated axle loads. You need to find a reinforced tire. There are some available. If going with a standard tire, I would go to a 215/70 and make sure it is rated for 44 psi inflation. This will at least bring you to a 96 load index. The factory reinforced 205/70 was a 97 load index. The 215 is also the wides you should put on steel wheels. The alloy wheels can go to 225/70.
