Tonight, I removed the fuel tank from my van.  There is a fair amount
of bubbly and flaking paint on the exterior, but I think the tank is
sound and that with some wire brushing, sanding, rust converter and
paint it will be fine.

The interior of the tank looks pristine.  No visible rust, dirt, gunk,
or other unpleasant surprises.  Since it looks good I don't think I'm
going to use any cleaner or other treatment, might do more harm than
good.

To replace all the little vent tube lines, that is 5mm line correct?

Coupling the return line to the tank looks like a section of 7mm line.

Does anyone know of a source for the crimp-type hose clamps that are
the original style?  Are they worth using or should I just use the
screw/clamp type?
