Check the pivot point where the accelerator cable meets the rod that goes to the throttle body. This point is right near the starter and you can get to it from the underside of the van. Many times this point gets rusty and it will seize up on you. You can take the 13mm nut loose, clean the parts up with some sand paper and lube it with some lithium grease and you should be good to go.

Once you do this your pedal will feel awesome!
