Anybody here used one of the water heaters that uses an heat exchanger on the stovetop?

I've got a hot water heat exchange sold in the US cruiser outfitters.

It's hooked in-line with the facet on my Advenutrewagen and it works OK. To really get the most of it I need to add a second tank for the water cycle through. I find if I run the water to fast it gets cold due to the small size of the exchange.

Other then that it's really quite low tech but works well.
