i stumbled across these folks in canada ... i do not know anything about them, except they have some nice looking campers, even some mercedes MB100 campers! (roughly the same size as the vanagon, but with front engine (between the seats) ... looks kinda like that Mitsubishi van of years ago in appearance).

anyway, they have a 1990 white Reimo highroof syncro vanagon camper, with 1.6 turbo diesel engine listed. only trouble is, the ad doesn't have the correct pictures ... http://www.rvwestfalia.com/en/Stock.htm that'll get you to their ads (check out the mercedes vans, too!). but to see the pictures, you'll need to go to www.canadatrader.com and search Quebec or (if this works) http://www.canadatrader.com/result/detailinfo.aspx?ID=23357060&pgno=2&srt=1

pictures look good, nice and new looking.

not sure about importing it into the u.s. with that engine, though. :(
