Hi Frank, thanks a lot for your help! Yes that's the broken part, the differential, I always called the tranny that whole piece... My fault.

Lets see first if someone local to FAS has a differential case available. In the mean time, how much are you asking for the differential case? I am located in the Montreal area, so not too far from you (Ottawa area). But 6 hours from FAS in Maine...

For your pleasure, here is attached a picture of the broken tranny (the list will stip it off)

Pedro, sounds like you have the tranny and differential together. The part that bolts to the engine is the differential. The differential and tranny are two separate items. If it is the differential case that's broken I may have a good case. The innards are scrap, so you would need to have the innards form your broken case one moved over to the other. One other option is to find someone who can weld back the part that broke off.

Cheers,

Hi Volks

I am looking for a good core (auto tranny for a 1991) as mine was damaged during transportation by UPS to FAS in Maine:

My trans is damaged at the mating surface to the engine. It is literaly broken off!
