I know you were working on this a few months ago. Did you for sure, and completely fix or eliminate the possibility that it's the oil cooler or oil cooler o-ring ? you checked the oil cooler nut is properly tightened ?

did you consider that either oil pressure swtich could be leaking ? access to the oil pump is not particularily easy. you'd be removing the cat and muffler, rear cross bar, an aluminum bracket on the rear of the engine, the crankshaft pully........just to get at the oil pump. I don't think I've even seen a real leak from there either, though it's very possible, .........and a person can work on VW's for 30 years and still see a 'new' failure mode they've never seen before. scott turbovans
