several things - One, did you LOOK inside the Booster when you had the old MC off ? .......need to make sure there's not a lot of old brake fluid in there. Two - did you get the o-ring in place on the front of the master cylinder ,, installing the new one ?

three- ALWAYS check the pedal first thing - for firmness and how high it as, the second you are done with bleeding. Always, always. - it's fundamental to the process. You never really know what bleeding as done for you until you step on the pedal.

Nobody ever does it ........ but what you should REALLY do on all cars, every time you drive ........is try the brakes first thing ..........move the car 3 feet, step on the brakes, to make sure they are working. THEN drive the car. But always check all work immeidately.

I don't think it harms the engine much at all to draw brake fluid into the intake and burn it in the combustion chambers. Hey - might even boost your fuel economy !!

it's more likely a workmanship or a detail that's off , rather than a fualty new master cylinder. scott
