Yup. Except we electrical types would say "infinite resistance" or "open circuit" rather than "no resistance"

Yes, they should. Or you might check with Richard Jones about his old Dometic. 'Cause right now you've verified the 110v heater is burnt out, we suspect the 12v heater is likewise, and it doesn't light on propane... :-(
