I know just how you feel. Happened to me when I got a new trench coat and my brother said "Watch out you don't catch the bottom hem in your turn signal and rip it off." How I chuckled!

Two weeks later I caught the hem in my turn signal (Toyota Tercel) and ripped it off. How I laughed! The 25-cent piece of broken plastic came from Toyota as part of the $72 switch assembly. I swore a mighty oath like unto the above and set about figuring out what would stick to structural polypropylene (not much). Six hours later it was fixed with epoxy. Six months later it came apart. Six more hours later it was fixed with little bits of serrated tin-can and liquid steel. Six months after that I went and paid the $72.

Cheers, David
