Did he not put it in or did it almost fall out immediately? Are you talking about the gasket from the cast iron piece to the j-pipe? This is a donut type gasket. The correct part number 855-253-137-A. Bosal part number 256-049 will do the job. You should be able to get something at a flaps. If you are really desperate and want to make a trip I have them here.

I am trying to get a gasket for my 2.1 L Exhaust Main Header as the mechanic who installed it did not put the gasket in. Unbelievable!

Its as loud as harley!

Can you use any other VW model years gasket?

I wanted to fix it this weekend.

Called all the local stores and nobody has it.
