interesting quest. Have you noticed how small in cross section the air inlet is in the air box/air flow meter ? Quite small there, and square or rectangular there, and sure looks smaller than the round throttle body for sure. I'd guess air speed through the air flow meter in that narrow spot is up there.

I just thought of a crude way to calculate it roughly - assuming the air-fuel ratio stays 'stoch' where it should ........... from the amount of fuel used, you could calculate the amount of air , by volume, that the engine consumes.
