to the laughing vanagoneers ... LOL indeed ... Not quite that inept ... inept but not quite THAT inept actually this cover had never been off before and was tight on the back upper corner my helper was a very knowledgeable metal guy who pointed out the tight joint and the possibility of problems with the top catching in the sharp corner ...

once we got the back forward and lifted a little (just like bentley says) the cover lifted out clean and simple ...

as far as my ineptness goes ... i am more the sort to retighten with out heeding torque and turn off nuts, bolts and screws in places where you have to disassemble half the unit to get at it with the tap and die ... my bad ...

but removing body panels with out damage ... so far so good ...;o) yours by the way what does BTDT mean ???
