I recently had a battery fail in my wife's 2000 Beetle, that was purchased in April, and Wal*Mart refunded the original purchase price ... which happened to be $2.00 more than the same battery was currently selling for, and took from that the price of the new battery. I walked out with a new battery, a fresh warranty, and $2.00. Mike |
