The Wal-Mart and Costco are the same battery made by Johnson Controls. I hate Die Hards. I've had too many die hard-failed inter cell connectors leaving you suddenly stranded. Wal-Mart warranty is best. Upon return they actually refund the purchase price. Then you buy new battery with new warranty again. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of mwmiller@cwnet.com Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2008 9:30 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: COSTCO's - Kirkland group 41 battery When I called Sears they only had a group 41 and it was $120, with a two year warrenty. Five-year pro rated warranty. Three year no questions asked, two years prorated thereafter. About $90. Leave Costco to the folks who like to buy their mayonnaise by the 5 gallon jug. > >Troy
