I'm thinking of doing some maintenance on the shift linkages on my '82. I've a new transmission with not many miles on it, have been told the shift linkages are pretty loose, and occasionally there is a bit of an issue shifting. So perhaps it's time for the bushings etc to be replaced and tidied up. Anyone done this recently, or have any diagnostics on the linkages, or any words of wisdom? Once again- the tranny is trustworthy! thanks all Bill M 82'GL I4 |
