Year: 90 Model: non-GL Tires: Hankook RA08 Size: 195R14 load rating: 2084lb at 65psi PSI cold F/R loaded: 50/50 I'm probably going to try upping that to 55PSI, as the van keeps getting heavier and is still a bit "wobbly". It was funny when I had the tires mounted at the local firestone. The guy there asked me what I wanted them pumped up to and I said "put 'em at 50". His eyes nearly popped out of his head and he said "no, that's too much". I pointed out the rating and the 65PSI limit on the tire, but he still insisted it was too much! Eventually , I just decided to let him put them at the 38PSI he wanted and drove the 3 blocks home and upped the pressure myself. -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Lastwagen" '90 Vanagon GL - "Wiesel" |
