Once again I don't think anyone is comparing - just pointing out that Honda is at least trying to do something in a market that VW could be aiming for as well - shoot a market some might say VW invented. If you hate Elements, more power to you, but doesn't its moderate success help to prove what many here have been screaming at VW for? A new "bus" of some sort - not a minivan, not an SUV - but a versitile, utalitarian, do most anything vehicle with little frills and an affordable price.

I test drove an Element a few times. I didn't think the experience was hat bad. Yeah not real peppy and there are some considerable blind spots but I wouldn't call it horrible. I didn't fold the bed or anything - it does look lumpy.
