The other thing that I did not really get when i did my first attempt 2 yr
ago
was the final steps to get the real gloss look
OK you do you 6-7 coats of roller work minimizing the orange peel
then after 6 coats the secret for me was to reealy go to town &
wet sand with 1500 grit all the panels so the entire surface is dull with NO
orange peel
dont worry thet you think you wont get the just painted gloss back
then get out the DA at 2000rpm and use any polishing compound to buff that
dull surface to shine
but it still not gonna be gloss shinny, then take you fav wax I used
Nu-Finish
lay it down and just hand rub it off
