Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2008 21:56:46 -0600 From: miguel pacheco <mundopacheco@GMAIL.COM> I test drove the Element and even laid out all the seats into sleeping mode.......result : that bed had more lumps on it than Michael Spinks and the driving experience was anemic handling, anemic engine. I ran away as fast as I could........horrible, horrible!! I can't believe this comparison is even taking place. Please, List Moderator, can we add a new criteria (such as sacrilege) for postings deserving of a spanking? Oh, the horror, the horror.........

Gracias, Miguel Sorry for the unfortunate choice of a subject, Miguel..There is no contest.. I meant to show that a friend who sold a Westie and now has an Element also found the Element to be not favorably comparable to her old Bay window, even. There was no contest, in her mind...she looked, that whole week we spent camping together, with great longing at our Vanagon in all it's turd-brown splendor and lusted after it...She also mentioned her Element got crappy mileage and she sometimes couldn't tell which one was hers if she went to a large parking area...Pretty generic vehicles, especially in areas of hip well-off oldsters like Jackson Hole. Now, the Aztec...I actually priced those at one time, thinking something soo ugly couldn't be worth much to anybody...but they may be developing a cult following...maybe like an Edsel or something... because they are pretty overpriced around Oregon and Washington at least..
