all tow truck drivers have a rope or something for towing cars backwards (
2WD ones ) with the front wheels on the ground - they traditionally tie the
steering wheel to the vent window frame.
 or just take the key out and let the steering lock in the center position.
As long as the fronts are straight, and held there somehow.
