good way to nuke your auto tranny.

you can tow manuals like that all day long but not the automatic.

ive done it before, years ago when i was a noob, and had the auto tranny fluid cook and sploog out the filler neck and all over the motor from getting so hot and under pressure..

from now on i disconnect axles from the hub, or remove them alltogether, before towing an auto.

manuals i leave in place.
