Over the weekend I borrowed a truck to move my daughter and her husband's stuff to their new house. Since my 90 is out of commission awaiting a rebuild, for the first time in 18 years I used something else--an88 GMC pickup--to do the job. It had two problems I'm trying to deal with and could use some help if anyone knows. I have no idea where to look on either of the two problems that developed (though I would know exactly what to do on my vanagons!): 1. I rolled the passenger window down and it wouldn't roll back up (power windows). No fade, no dragging, no warning, just simply no go. Down for 30 seconds, no up. 2. The power steering quit. No leaks, no groans, no squeal, no warning, just quit in traffic. The reservoir is full of clean fluid. Thanks, Jim |
