Part of the problem is that the EMPI company of the 60s and 70s is,
as far as I recall, defunct. The new company benefits from the cache,
but their quality control is sometimes questionable. I have had some
quite good parts, then again, a lot of trim stuff has pretty much
disintegrated in front of my eyes. Then again, there are some real
period Empi parts that weren't too hot, either..
