FAG cs SKF

I know nothing of FAG but I do know that SKF has been around for a hundred years or so and (at least used to) make their own product. My father, a machinist all his life, if given a choice, would reach for a SKF bearings above any other brand, Timken being a close second. I had heard at one time the SKF, a Swedish company, had moved at least part of their operation out of Sweden to Germany because of the econonomics in Sweden. Some info here: http://www.skf.com/portal/skf/home/about?contentId=000493&lang=en
