In a recent message Frank mentioned that my messages were getting scrambled like others. So I just checked the Archives and sure enough, one of my messages in another thread yesterday is scrambled in the archives. BUT, it was not scrambled when sent out to the list, the copy that appears in my 'All Mail' history here on Gmail is just fine, same as what shows in my 'Sent <ail' file.

We have all seen this from time to time and I've seen it from other sources usually a message left at the bottom of a response that is scrambled or encoded or something.

I've just checked the encoding on my messages, both the scrambled version in the archives and others that are okay and they are all set correctly or at least the same.

So, all you Internet Gurus out there, what are we seeing? And Frank is right, if messages are going out okay but end up scrambled to some members and scrambled in the archives some good info is being lost.
