It could be a dirty connection(s). Is the fan original? Could be failing.

The thermal sensor may be fine. On my 182A there is a little metal retainer that screws to the fin holding the sensor in place against the fin. I *think* the 182B is the same. If needed, you should be able to reshape the retainer so sensor is held to fin. Also, adding a little thermal paste between sensor and fin might help.
