A couple of people have asked me about the floor dimples marking the
spots for the Westy holes. These are very small, like someone used a
dull nail and hit it with a hammer. If you don't know what and where to
look you might not think they are anything at all. If you set a Westy
interior into place on a bare metal passenger floor you can see the
dimples right in the center of the water tank drain area, etc. There are
other dimples in places that have nothing to do with Westy cabinets so I
assume VW made a standard floor sheet metal pre-marked for lots of
vehicle variations.
