Scott and all,

The station I went to did not say anything about testing from the filler
neck, in fact I asked him if that is the way they do it, and he said no,
they disconnect the line at the check valve and pressure the cannister and
tank.

He may have been wrong though. It seems to me that to put pressure at the
filler neck would be the most simple way to test the evap system. But his
response did fit with his lack of intent to reach up into the wheel well to
make the connection.

Maybe there are two options for testing station.

He did test my gas cap though.
