Thanks Ben

"sigh".

I'll have to have a word with my parts guy. I certainly asked about the quality when purchased.

I had my assembly/work checked shortly after I installed all the parts. He said it was "ok". Even with a broken odometer (at the time) maybe the manufacturer will give a refund. I doubt I even have 20K km's on them.

I've read in the archives that dealership shoes are the way to go.

I'd rather not trust the archives for current info.

Anyone know what brand shoes and front pads the VW dealers (in Canada eh?) carry these days? If so, are they still any good?

While there, I might get some front pads too.... "cha ching". --- ;^)

I see absolutely no reason to go with non dealership if VW still sells the goot schtuff.

Sorry can't recall what brand I installed, though I'm sure my parts guy will know. Maybe it's on the receipt.....

Thanks for the opinions/help.

Neil.
