Hey volks,

A few of youse and myself were wondering 'bout the best (read 'lowest') routes 'round these mountains 'round WA/OR/CA. I tried flying via googleearth but that proved tedious and ultimately mislead me on the Yosemite trek. I were just searching for some quad maps and stumbled across a new(?) google toy. It's at mapsdotgoogledotcom. These topo maps at google give elevations just two clicks down from the highest magnification. I searched 'quad maps 176' and it came up as the first hit. Would send the link itself (Grants Pass, OR) but don't think this list thingy will allow me. I presume the larger engine your Vanagon (content) has or more of a Stock Nazi you are, the more valuable the maps will be.

Enjoy!
