<You need to get out more. Gas in the UK is about $10. In most of Asia it's about $8. Not everything EMPI sells is made in China nor ar they all crap.>

No, no I don't really. I am aware of what gas costs in the UK, my daughter just got back from a 2 week trip to Europe, so I also know what airline tickets cost, as well as hotels and meals, painfully aware. When our gas was $2.00 a gallon, theirs was what, 5 or 6? It's always been more expensive, which is why they drive small cars and we have folks who drive Hummers and big dually pick ups for no good reason. Nor did I say everything Empi makes is crap, but the Empi shifter I bought was a piece of crap (origin unknown). But I never buy a product from a company that turns out to be crap then rush right out to buy more from the same company. Interesting side note- I just picked my daughter up from school, and she was about 10 minutes late. Every other parent there to pick up their child sat in their big SUVs with the engine running and the AC on, while I sat there in my Element, engine off, windows down, sweating away in the heat and humidity. So it looks like $4.00/gallon still isn't high enough to make some people change their habits. Even at $1.50/ gallon, I'd have still turned my engine off. Jeff
