Hi Frank,

No, I'm not on AOL.

I'm reasonably sure the problem occurs when the software on Gerry
converts the message to ASCII text, which would happen when digesting or
archiving.

I noticed messages from Loren Busch also appear illegible.

I don't rememember who the list admin is... Jim? Can they comment on
this? Preferences for receiving email in digest form aside, I think this
has negative implications for the future usefulness of archive searches.
Maybe there is an update or patch that can be applied to the list
software or server OS.
