Hi Tom, I have 3 lessons I've learned in my years of VWing, these are questions I learned to ask myself the 'hard way'. These are the basic questions I ask when something goes wrong on any VW I own, they do not always fix a problem but need to be looked at. I don't even mention not putting anything but Germany plugs in a German car or Japanese plugs in a Japanese car....

They are listed in the order learned

1) If a problem is electrical add a ground. 2) Is it out of gas? 3) When the temp of the coolant makes a difference in a problem check the temp2.
