Subject: What kind of intake boot is this?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi- I found an intake boot yesterday I'm sure some of you know what it is- it's an intake boot or elbow I found in a 2.1 Vanagon yesterday. The number is 025 129 627 F. I can't find it in the ETKA. It has a staggered bellows design, not like the vertical one (025 129 627 L).

I got to wondering if this was brought over from Germany because also in the Vanagon was a green box Verbandkasten (first aid kit) and a yellow cased SWF Warndrieck(emergency road reflector sign). Those are cool finds in themselves, but the van is an average passenger model, and the headlight, tailights US.

Some of you import freaks will know if the lights etc have to be changed to US spec for importation. Or else these things were just left in the van .
