One really shouldn't drive even one block without the waterpump/alternator belt. Some really expensive damage can result. If you don't carry a spare belt, and if you have power steering, the power steering belt will work. Just shift it over to the other pulleys. Driving with the power steering belt off won't hurt anything. Mike |
