Thanks for the suggestions. Joel, I haven't seen Naval Jelly since my dad had me using it on lawn furniture in the 1970s. Looks like a good thing to put on until I can work my way around to all of the spots using something like Frank's technique. With a combination of these things, I hope to preserve the body long enough to permit real stripping and painting. BTW, I can control the indoor storage climate as much as I want to pay for.
