I always agree with this : The unreliability of the WBX'er is GROSSLY overstated. Stop perpetuating the myth... I've hung up a few 2.1s due to no umph after high miles and just swap it out with another used one I purchased somewhere, or pulled from a wreck, etc. These have proven pretty reliable and if ever I have been plagued, it has been by any number of things, but not the engine crapping out early in its life. These things are anywhere between 17 and 28 years old (more or less, please don't ding me on this) so you can expect all kinds of problems which are clearly documented here.
