Why would a Vendor sell the required 7x3 hose in only 20 meter (approximately 66 feet) lengths, when that much is not required to do a "re-hosing" of any VW fuel injection system that I'm aware of? Doesn't make sense to me. I could see selling it in 5 meter lengths and most over-the-counter and mail order vendors I know of sell it either by the foot or by the meter (about a 39" length). As a Vendor to the public, yes, most are required from most suppliers to purchase in 20 meter length rolls, although some suppliers provide 10 meter and even 5 meter length rolls. But that doesn't require that it be resold in the "purchase" package of 20, 10 or 5 meters, but what ever a Vendor would want it to be as convenient to the end-consumer. Airhead/VWG sells all hoses they carry by the meter: The GOOD Clamps: http://www.airheadparts.com/viewDetail.asp?idProduct=8209 My nickel's worth -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com jim@airheadparts.com *********************************** On Mon, Aug 11, 2008 at 7:12 PM, Allan Streib <streib@cs.indiana.edu> wrote: > Ken Wilford <kenwilfy@COMCAST.NET> writes: > > > The 7mm hose pushes on and squeezes onto any fittings that are in > > the system.
