it doesn't say 'more with 1.6 TD engines than gas engines'
it says 'more 1.6TD engines than 2.1 gas engines'
and it also says more 1.9 gas engines than 2.1 gas engines.
so you really can't tell what proportioin of total production was diesel
from those statements.
or that diesel were necessarily very numerous even.
though no doubt total diesel production was pretty up there I imagine.
