I had a rear left tire go flat at 65mph on my 90 Syncro AW. I got off the highway and onto the grass pretty quick, but while still mobile, the van was very steady. My lesson (and there always seems to be one) this time was to not deal with a tire shop that doesn't honor the warranty due to a 'run flat.' The Good Year shop guy told me they wouldn't honor it since I obviously ran it while flat. I told him I was off the highway and onto the grass very quickly, but no go. These tires were at 30% wear, at this time, and, as you may imagine, this caused me a problem with my 5 tire rotation. Might go to a 6 tire rotation next time. Later, I approached the local 'can do anything' tire guy and he said that since there is no way all drivers can get off the road fast enough to not ruin a tire, when flat, he never uses the 'run flat' rule to void a warranty. He has my business when I purchase my next set.

Gracias, Miguel
