Hey peeps:

I'll be departing this afternoon after a family gathering. The trailer's tires have been obsessively aired and re-aired, the load re-checked, trailer ball greased, trailer lights checked, van has had an oil and filter change, full inspection of underside, hoses all visually inspected, a replacement ECU to finally fix its lousy idling problem, new plugs, and is presently sitting in the driveway with the Norcold refrigerator running so that a bottle of great Brunella (and my jar of sourdough starter) stay cool during the journey up inland California and Oregon -- it's predicted to be 101F near Redding tomorrow. The wine is for celebrating my arrival Monday night at our new house in Bend. I'm confident I'll make it there w/o any issues. But not 100% confident -- this is a Vanagon, after all.

Thanks to all here for your help with the myriad mechanical issues this cantankerous machine delights in presenting. I'll get in touch on the flipside. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott
