ONE MORE TIME ........There is NO need to remove anything to change the high oil pressure switch. Use a 1/2" drive deep well socket with a 1/2" to 3/8" reducer installed part way so that you can get a 13 mm ~ 1/2" open end wrench on the square shaft of the reducer. A piece of pipe over the open end wrench for leverage and zoom, zoom the switch is loose. Turn it out and screw in the new one. Takes me about 1/2 hour to change this switch. SOMETIMES it may be necessary to PRY back the muffler shield by inserting a long pry bar between the middle of the engine pulley and the tin and prying it backwards to allow the deep well socket to get on the switch and turn freely. A pair of long angle needle nose pliers are used to remove and install the wire terminal WHICH SHOULD BE RENEWED if not is absolutely perfect condition. A pair of long straight needle nose pliers are used to install the tie wrap to hold the wire to the switch.
