dear all body syncro /vanagon

reading the string of posts detailing the journey and creation of syncro and
2wd bodies-
well-
this explains why my recently imported
1989 type 3 california model 6 speed diesel vanagon westfalia
has the hump in the floor at the gear shift boot
and why my SO is always saying ... our van looks like a syncro
she has a better eye than i for such nuances
it looks like cause it may have been designated that first out of the box-
why does my Studebaker's have a chevy engine ... lol ;)
why does my jaguar have a chevy engine
hey whats this vw engine doing in my dodge
i did have high hopes for the rolls royce people to put the rolls engine in
vanagon
