**I've been driving a Vanagon for a daily driver for nearly 10 years now. Granted I'm on my 3rd one (not because of catastrophic failures). I suppose my day is coming but I've not had any "major" issues yet - sure I've replaced a clutch, done brakes, replaced an oil cooler o-ring, had a rear heater core fail and leak, a front heater blower quit working, and the infamouse collant lines leak through. Some may consider these reasons to not have one as a DD but they haven't stopped me yet.

I love them and fear the day I may be forced into something else.

-- Thanks,
